The NetworX NX-8 is a full-featured security system that used advanced technology for burglary, fire* and environmental detection. The NX-8 is a flexible security system that is simple to use. With eight partitions and up to 48 zones, the NX-8 can handle big or small residential and commercial security needs.
The NX-8 panel comes standard with eight hardwire zone inputs and is capable of up to 48 hardwired/wireless zones. Also featured are four programmable outputs that can be set up to activate external devices during an alarm or other system event. The modular design allows for complete integration of multiple systems within one enclosure, also known as “partitions”. With the NX-8 series adding more zones or expanding capability is fast and easy. Aiding in the simplicity the NX-8 alphanumeric keypads feature a bright easy to read menu LCD screen which makes ready zones, time and armed status very easy.
Expand your NX-8 system even further with a phone interface/voice module for on-site and off-site system control using any touchtone phone. Those of you who have busy lives, or kids you want to keep track of can also opt for E-alerts for a minimal extra monthly fee. This feature sends a text message or email to your phone or smart device every time your system is armed (turned on) or disarmed (turned off).

The Z-Wave® connectivity module lets you integrate security, lighting, thermostats and more in one self-contained system providing complete local control at the panel (an optional Wi-Fi enabled wireless Android™ tablet keypad is also available). When combining LYNX Touch with Honeywell Total Connect™ Remote Services, users can control security, thermostats, lighting, locks and more using their smart phones or PCs from anywhere in the world.
LYNX Touch also allows you to record verbal messages weather it be a shopping list, a greeting for your kids after school or a reminder to check your lotto numbers. With the full color touch screen you can utilize your system as a digital photo frame showing slideshows from an SD card as you walk by, all while knowing your home is secure.
